Do you need an AI content disclaimer?
If you publish content that was drafted or substantially edited by an AI tool, disclose it. No US federal law currently requires a general AI disclosure for blog content, but FTC rules against deceptive practices apply to any claim about how content was made, and Google's guidance is to be transparent about AI involvement where readers would reasonably want to know. Advertising, endorsements, and health or financial content carry the most risk.

A footer notice about images is weak if a generated photo looks real. Caption it.
